The strategic partner Glen Dimplex introduced the possibilities of the modern heat supply for residential buildings at the ISH 2015 in Frankfurt. The Smart Eco System, jointly developed together with Diehl Controls, received much interest. The System connects modern heating, warming and warm water devices with each other and offers the user innovative operational possibilities.
“Comfort meets Technology” was the motto from March 10 - 14 at the ISH 2015 in Frankfurt, the world’s leading trade fair for energy efficient heating, sanitary technology and renewable energies. The focus of the approximately 198,000 visitors was also on the new products in the area of thermal storage heaters and heat pumps. Glen Dimplex presented in this context innovative new devices such as the “Intelligent Quantum” as well as the warm water heat pump “DHW 300+”.
The central unit of the Smart Eco System plays an important complementary role in the connection of these heating and warming devices. When running, the information from the energy components comes together. Therefore, the components can be connected with comprehensive individually required scenarios and enhancements.
In connection with the photovoltaic system, the system additionally offers the possibility of switching on select devices when there is excess PV power. In this way, the customer can simply increase his own consumption rate. Through the use of open radio standards, the Smart Eco System connects a large selection of radio-based devices and controlling elements. This can be integrated easily and quickly without additional cables and therefore complements the system.
The trade visitors at Glen Dimplex's fair stand could also get to know the innovative remote controlling and operational possibilities of the Smart Eco System using an App for Table PC or Smartphone. The end user then has his personal home technology perfectly in sight.
