The Federal Government and the industry associations are launching the initiative Energy Efficiency Networks.
The Federal Government and the signing economic associations and associations all agree: Energy Efficiency of the German Economy can be effectively and efficiently pulled forward, when the companies themselves take over this task. Therefore the initiative Energy Efficiency Networks has been established. Currently 21 associations and organizations from the German economy as well as the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and the Federal Environment Ministry (BMUB) are participating in this initiative.
Diehl Metall is also participating in this initiative and is involved in the energy efficiency network WVM Plus, which was initiated especially for companies in the non-ferrous metal industry.
The aim of the network is to save 36,503,000 kWh of energy in the production process. Thus, Diehl Metall makes an important contribution to achieving the climate and energy policy goals of the Federal Republic of Germany.
