At the beginning of November, Diehl Metal Applications showcased innovative parts and components for the electrical engineering and electronics industries during this year’s electronica trade fair in Munich.
At a booth spanning 50m2, DMA provided information to visitors on its entire product and technology portfolio. Co-design│Prematerials non-ferrous strip & wire│Stamping technology│Schempp+Decker press-fit zones│Highly selective plating technologies│Special platings for press-fit zones such as S+D Advanced Indium & S+D Advanced SilverTin│Overmolding & assembly.
By bundling these technological competencies, DMA is able to develop and manufacture products along the entire value-adding chain. Our customers and partners can decide if they wish to opt for a partial solution or to entrust DMA with the entire process. In this way, DMA can successfully cater to the individual requirements of its customers.
On the second day of the fair, a presentation on “SKEDD” technology was held together with Würth Elektronik ICS and the other licensees Phoenix Contact as well as Lumberg Connect. SKEDD is a simple and reliable addition to soldering and press-fit terminations, offering direct connection technology for circuit board terminals. The presentation generated considerable interest and enthusiasm among industry professionals visiting the fair.
The participation at electronica was a complete success for DMA. As well as making new contacts, the event also provided the opportunity to cultivate and strengthen existing ones.
